Caro Presidente,
questo prestigioso riconoscimento sarà per lei anche una spinta ed un incoraggiamento a continuare ad agire come questi nostri tempi difficili richiedono: guidare con spirito di servizio, dare buoni esempi di semplicità e di umiltà, ma anche di fermezza, certo il Signore sa sempre quello che fa se ha voluto chiamarla in questo preciso momento a questo ruolo di grande responsabilità...possa essere sempre come sta già facendo, esempio di una libertà che non è "libertinismo", di una cura per la propria forma che non è ossessione, di una attenzione verso i paesi tecnologicamente più svantaggiati che è sì "imperialismo", ma "imperialismo" dell'amore, non del profitto e della prepotenza, nel rispetto delle minoranze e con un occhio particolarmente attento alle tante nuove (e antiche) forme di discriminazioni che intossicano l'atmosfera del nostro pianeta. La pace vera sia nel suo cuore e in quello delle persone a lei care, così che possiate trasmetterla a tutti coloro che incontrerà nella sua missione,
